Michele Khoo is currently seconded to the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) from the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI). Together with Laurel, they will oversee the overall planning of the AJF programme.
An experienced communications practitioner, Michele has built a strong track record within the Singapore Public Service. She previously served as Director of Communications and Press Secretary to the Minister at the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and the Ministry of National Development (MND), before joining the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Throughout her career, Michele has led strategic communications efforts on a wide range of national priorities, including social cohesion, public housing, and most recently, public healthcare.
She holds a PhD in Communication Studies from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and has a keen interest in behavioural insights and the role of media in shaping public attitudes and behaviours.
